Our Genmaicha is cultivated by a family farm in Ujitawara that have been growing tea for over 120 years.
Our Genmaicha is a blend of sencha and roasted brown rice. Together the traditional aroma and grassy flavour of sencha is complemented by the crackle and pop of rice crackers.
This Genmaicha Powder is perfect for making latte.
How to Serve
Genmaicha, just like Matcha Latte, also goes very well with milk. Refreshing green and nutty aromas match rich and foamy warm milk. Because Genmaicha is not as intense as Matcha, a good amount of tea needs to be used for a serving. Make 2 tablespoons for one serving as a guide, but adjust the strength to your liking when you make it.
Genmaicha Latte is a nice and mild warm drink perfect during the cold season.
Have it as a nice treat on a weekend afternoon when you’re cozying at home. Hope you like it!
